Brazilian Officials Upset Over Gisele Bundchen Lingerie Ad

Gisele Bundchen

A Brazilian government agency says it wants a TV ad starring a lingerie-clad Gisele Bundchen to be taken off the air because it is sexist.

The Women's Rights Secretariat says in a Thursday statement that it has asked the National Advertising Council to suspend the ad. It says the ad reinforces stereotypes of women as sex objects.

The ad shows Bundchen clad in underwear telling an unseen husband that she crashed the car and exceeded her credit card limit.

The Brazilian lingerie maker Hope says it wanted to show that a "Brazilian woman's sensuality is her best protection when delivering bad news."

Jessica Simpson Pregnant

Jessica Simpson Pregnant

Jessica Simpson denied rumours she is expecting her first child earlier this year. But it seems Jessica Simpson may still be sitting on happy news, judging by photographs of the star at the launch of the Ready-To-Wear Jessica Simpson Collection at Macy's Union Square in New York yesterday. The happy couple: Jessica and Eric Johnson pose up at the Ready-to-Wear Jessica Simpson Collection at Macy's Union Square yesterday The 31-year-old star covered her curves in a loose-fitting black top, with chain detail that almost created an optical illusion. Teamed with a black blazer, it's almost impossible to see if the Texan is concealing a baby bump, but she's definitely employed tried and tested methods for under-emphasising curves. Jessica also posed with a gorgeous baby during the meet and greet, and her beaming smile as she cuddled the precious bundle will do nothing to calm the speculation that she is expecting. Jessica was first spotted with a burgeoning bump back in July, when her spokesperson came forward to insist: 'She is not pregnant.' JP Morgan Funded NYPD Mass Arrests Over 700 Peaceful Occupy Wall Street Protesters

JP Morgan Funded NYPD Mass Arrests Over 700 Peaceful Occupy Wall Street Protesters

The NYPD has arrested over 700 protesters who were occupying the Brooklyn Bridge in what could very well be a defining moment in the battle for freedom and liberty in America.

The police apparently corralled the protesters(depending on whose story you believe) onto the Brooklyn Bridge and then started their arrests of American citizens protesting the very banks that have destroyed this country from within.

The NYPD is essentially doing the dirty work for the banks, which makes complete sense when you consider the fact that JP Morgan actually FUNDS The New York City Police Department.

That's right, the very police department that has been filmed numerous times beating and macing the Occupy Wall Street protesters has received a considerable amount of money from the very banks that the protesters are targeting! #OccupyWallStreet - 'The Marines are Coming to PROTECT the Protestors'

Marines Wall Street

TAMPA, FL - The Occupy Wall Street movement may have just received an unexpected surprise – United States Army and Marine troops are reportedly on their way to various protest locations to support the movement and to protect the protesters.

Army serviceman Ward Reilly posted the following on Facebook:

“I'm heading up there tonight in my dress blues. So far, 15 of my fellow marine buddies are meeting me there, also in Uniform.

I want to send the following message to Wall St and Congress:

I didn't fight for Wall St. I fought for America. Now it's Congress' turn.

My true hope, though, is that we Veterans can act as first line of defense between the police and the protester. If they want to get to some protesters so they can mace them, they will have to get through the Fucking Marine Corps first. Let's see a cop mace a bunch of decorated war vets.

I apologize now for typos and errors. Typing this on iPhone whilst heading to NYC. We can organize once we're there. That's what we do best.If you see someone in uniform, gather together.

#OccupyWallStreet - "The Marines are Coming to Wall Street to PROTECT the Protestors' | in5d Alternative News | in5d.com |A formation will be held tonight at 10PM.

We all took an oath to uphold, protect and defend the constitution of this country. That's what we will be doing.

Hope to see you there!!”

Reilly added, “Please note...this is from another veteran, NOT ME. (I was Army, he's a Marine)...and I am on my way to DC, not NYC. :>) ....but this is fantastic, and he's not a VFP guy....just a soldier that is outraged by what we have become in this country, as it should be.

Emma Coronel,, Joaquin Guzman, Wife of Sinaloa drug lord gives birth in California hospital

LOS ANGELES — The young wife of Mexico's most wanted drug lord has given birth to twin girls at a hospital in California, according to a newspaper report.

Emma Coronel, the 22-year-old wife of Joaquin Guzman, crossed the border in mid-July and delivered her daughters at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster on Aug. 15, the Los Angeles Times reported on its website Monday.

Coronel, a former beauty queen who holds U.S. citizenship, returned to Mexico after they were born. Because they were born in the U.S., her children also qualify for American citizenship.

Azharuddin's teenage son dies 5 days after bike crash

Ayazuddin Ayazuddin

HYDERABAD: Had he lived, Mohammed Ayazuddin would have played an inter-college match at Osmania University this month end. And had he survived the battle in hospital, the budding cricketer may perhaps have scripted an innings like the ones his father was known for while at his peak. But these will now only be spoken of in eulogies revolving around a future that Ayazuddin doesn't have. Five days after his Suzuki 1000-cc superbike skidded and crashed on a Hyderabad expressway, former Indian skipper Mohammed Azharuddin's son succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning.

The 19-year-old passed away at 11.51am. Azharuddin, who had remained composed through the five days, broke down when he was told of his younger son's death and wept inconsolably as his relatives hugged him.

Tareq Salahi files for divorce from wife Michaele after she ran off with Journey rocker Neal Schon Tareq Salahi files for divorce from wife Michaele after she ran off with Journey rocker Neal Schon Tareq Salahi files for divorce from wife Michaele after she ran off with Journey rocker Neal Schon
Tareq Salahi, 43, who has over the past few days faced the public humiliation of reporting wife Michaele missing only to find she had left him for a rock star, has filed for divorce.

Tareq, a vineyard owner and former public official who gained notoriety for crashing a 2009 White House state dinner with his wife, filed papers Friday in Warren County, Va., according to The Associated Press.

Court documents say the couple, who wed in Nov. 2003, had a prenuptial agreement, but the terms were not specified.

Michaele, 45, left her husband on Tuesday to be with Neal Schon, guitarist for the rock band Journey.

"Over the objections of me, she continually exposes our friends and acquaintances to her adulterous relationship and has flaunted the same throughout the community, the nation and indeed the world, and thus caused ... me to suffer great harm, humiliation, and embarrassment," Tareq said in the divorce petition.

He also accused Schon of emailing him a picture of a penis, though he doesn't elaborate as to why.

Airplane Crashes Into Stands At National Championship Air Races In Nevada : Reno Air Show Plane Crash

P-51 MustangImage by speedflicker via Flickr

 P-51 Mustang racer
A vintage World War II-era fighter plane plunged into the grandstands Friday during a popular annual air show, killing at least three people, injuring more than 50 spectators and creating a horrific scene strewn with body parts and smoking debris.

The cause of the crash wasn't immediately known, but an official with the event said there were indications that mechanical problems were at play.

The plane, flown by a renowned 74-year-old air racer and movie stunt pilot, spiraled suddenly out of control and appeared to disintegrate upon impact. Bloodied bodies were spread across the area as people tended to the victims and ambulances rushed to the scene.

Maureen Higgins of Alabama, who has been coming to the show for 16 years, said the pilot was on his third lap when he lost control.

She was sitting about 30 yards away from the crash and watched in horror as the man in front of her started bleeding after a piece of debris hit him in the head.

TV Tonight: Sons of Anarchy Goes Back to Cali

sons of anarchy season 3

The third season of Sons of Anarchy was, shall we say, divisive. The chief issue that divided fan from fan, critic from critic, and creator Kurt Sutter from people who criticized creator Kurt Sutter was the season's long sojourn in Northern Ireland, where the abducted son of protagonist Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) was spirited away and where much of the founding legend of the eponymous biker gang took place.

I'm not sure I had the same problem many others did with season three. Which is not to say I had no problem with it. I was actually interested in the connections between the Charming and the Belfast chapters of the Sons and the backstory of Jax's father. My problem—and one that I suspect separates me from a lot of Sons fans—was that the search for Abel sidelined what was for me the most interesting part of the show, the conflicts between Jax and current SAMCRO head Clay (Ron Perlman).

'Modern Warfare 3' Multiplayer hands-on preview

Modern Warfare 3 's multiplayer is said to offer one of the biggest overhauls to the first-person shooter since the original Call of Duty 4 , and it's a claim we can't disagree with. In a bid to close the gap between dominating skilled players and the inexperienced newcomers, Modern Warfare3 offers a complete revamp of the genre-defining Kill Streak system, and - combinedwith other changes - aims to offer the most balanced, varied and choice-driven suite of options to date. Digital Spy was among the first publications in the world to go hands-on with the mode to see how the changes impact the game.

The most fundamental change coming to Modern Warfare 3 is ditching Kill Streaks for a Point Streak system. In short, it won't be only kills that contribute to streak rewards, but actions such as capturing bases and assists. It's a change that means modes other than Team Deathmatch will provide players with more streaking opportunities, so those who prefer to take more of a supporting role have a better chance of reaping rewards.

Bethenny Frankel on Suicide of Russell Armstrong: Don't Blame Bravo!

Bethenny Frankel may soon be leaving Bravo , but she's still quick to defend the network.

Asked about the suicide of Russell Armstrong and whether The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills could be blamed for the tragedy, this reality star scoffed at the mere mention of such liability.

“It’s preposterous to blame a TV show for someone’s suicide,”Bethenny told USA Today .“When the show started filming, I’d heard he wasn’t so kind to his wife."

Whatever problems Russell had, and whatever exposure they'd be given on the Real Housewives, Frankel says the troubled man knew what was in store for him before a single frame was shot:

“People sign very lengthy documents and they know what they’re getting into. Life is stressful. It’s unfair to blame a TV show for something personal. I believe that I really do.”

In one of his final interviews, Armstrong railed against the show that made him famous, citing its editing process and how he's nothing like the person viewers saw each week. Bravo will premiere season two of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Monday night.

Lindsay Lohan has had Billy Joel lyrics tattooed onto her at her favourite LA tattoo shop, Shamrock Tattoos

t
LINDSAY Lohan paid homage to fellow Long Island native Billy Joel by getting a new tattoo of the pop crooner's lyrics, TMZ reports.

"Clear as a crystal, sharp as a knife, I feel as if I'm in the prime of my life," read the new body art spotted on the actress' upper rib cage, which are lines from Joel's 1990 hit I Go to Extremes.

"It represented where she is in life and everything she's been through ... it signifies that she's focused, "a source told the entertainment website, that is also running pictures of Lohan's new body art.

After leaving the Betty Ford Center in January after a three month stay, Lohan admitted she was experiencing a few" bumps on the road" in her acting career, in an interview with Extra.

" As long as I'm focusing on the one thing that I know I need to put first in my life, which is my recovery and stuff, then I'm doing good and that's most important to me," the Mean Girls star said.
